The next curator will be, Arturo Franco Diaz. Who has made it public through a note.
"Today is a great day! My friend Francisco Mangado has called me to communicate that I have been appointed Curator / Director of the 11th Ibero-American Architecture and Urbanism Biennial." To celebrate, I have been searching through old photos and I share these in which I learn from the master Argentine Clorindo Testa (1923-2013) and Chilean teacher Hermano Martín Correa (1928)."
The Ibero-American Architecture and Urbanism Biennial (BIAU) is an initiative of the Government of Spain, consolidated after nine previous editions, as one of the fundamental references to know the current and prospective situation of architecture and urbanism in the Ibero-American community.
The basic activities of the Biennial revolve around the recognition of professional trajectories and significant works of architecture; to highlight the best publications in the sector; to reward the most outstanding research works or the best ideas of architects and architecture students through online competitions.
