Work Studio has envisioned the new Yoozoo establishment in San Luis Potosí, Mexico—an inviting intervention that now forms part of the Roma 130 business complex. From the moment of ordering to the first sip, customers embark on a sensory journey through an interactive environment where lights and walls play with transparency.

The space is conceived as an immersive refuge, where not only the product takes center stage but also the venue itself. A near-museum-like experience unfolds through translucent partitions, where shifting, metamorphic reflections change with the passing hours, drawing visitors inside for a serene escape from the bustling city outside.

The experience designed by Worc Studio begins at a discreet street-side window, where the journey starts with the simple act of placing an order. From there, a narrow yet serene corridor guides visitors forward, offering glimpses—through carefully positioned openings—of the work and consumption areas. The path culminates in a semicircular lounge, crowned by a floating sculpture and embraced by the interplay of light and shadows cast by the surrounding vegetation.

The shifting dialogue between light and texture is achieved through the strategic use of polycarbonate partitions. Metallic reflections and ever-changing shadows imbue the space with a sense of perpetual dynamism, further enhanced by the geometry and tonal subtlety of the cushioned sculpture, which seems to float above the thoughts of those who inhabit the space.

Description of project by Worc Studio

Yoozoo's design focuses on creating a unique sensory experience for a bubble tea shop through the use of polycarbonate as the main light diffuser. From the moment the customer places their order at the entrance, the journey becomes a dynamic exploration of the space.

The polycarbonate walls, with their translucent properties, play with natural and artificial light, creating a constantly changing atmosphere, where shadows and reflections are transformed according to the time of day.

As you move through, the venue reveals various visual and spatial surprises, including interactive elements and intimate nooks and crannies that invite curiosity.

The experience culminates indoors, away from the urban bustle, in a space that becomes the perfect refuge to enjoy drinks in an immersive environment. Above, a sculptural art piece by Lucia Aumann and Pablo Kobayashi, which transforms its tonalities and geometry over time, offers a sense of constant movement, making each visit unique.

The interplay between light, textures and space turns the place into a place where the drink is not the only thing to be enjoyed, but also the atmosphere that surrounds it.
