Senior Architect, Rotterdam
OMA Rotterdam is looking for a Senior Architect with conceptual design talent and extensive building experience to work on a large scale building project to go under construction in France. Candidates should have experience in developing client relationships, leading and mentoring a team, and completing high quality work. The Senior Architect will be based in the OMA headquarters in Rotterdam and will collaborate with consultants and local architects to produce a comprehensive design package through intensive coordination work
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Architecture
- 8 years+ of proven experience in all phases of design process: conceptual, detail and design development, construction documents, construction administration, site supervision
- Highly developed skills in client communications, contract documentation, project scheduling, team leadership, building design, technical detailing, consultant coordination, construction administration
- Excellent AutoCAD and Adobe Suite skills
- Knowledge of international building codes
- Track record of realized and / or published projects in France
- Fluency in written and spoken French and English
- LEED accreditation is preferred
- Hands-on approach
- Self-disciplined and confident in a complex international environment
- Deep understanding of OMA's work and the capability to execute its design intentions through the various stages to completion
