Stylists are key players in the fashion world , they assist designers in creating an identity and defining their own style. They help brands adapt their fashions so that they may shift from the runways of haute couture to the city streets. They are inspired by music and cinema, and adapt concepts and ideas from these artistic disciplines into their own fashion and styling.

Jaume Vidiella is a stylist and art director that has worked with such well-known and prestigious brands as Armand Basi, Colcci, Prenatal and Adidas, in addition to having been fashion editor at the magazine B-Guided. At the conference The influence of the stylist in the fashion media, this great fashion professional, who also taught at (Istituto Europeo di Design) and the BAU among others, will tell us about the mechanisms of this world their relationship to styling, the art of coolhunting, the way to put you own unique stamp when you are creating a look, discussing current fashion trends and how stylists have influenced them.
 

The event takes place today, Thursday the 31st at 7 p.m. in the sala d'actes at the DHUB (12 Montcada Street) Barcelona.
