Yesterday the first edition of the festival concluded, held in the city of Granada, where citizens and professionals from the sector participated in the cultural, reflection and meeting days that have taken place under the AIRE temporary pavilion, projected by P + S Estudio de Arquitectura.
Seville and Valencia, the cities that have been chosen to host «TAC!» in 2023, share the objective of uniting contemporary architecture and creativity with public space through an approach to young talent. The selection of Seville and Granada is made from among a total of nine that have submitted a project to host «TAC!». The jury, in its selection criteria, has taken into account issues such as integration into the environment, urban and architectural quality, sustainability and the viability of the projects.
"TAC!" is an urban architecture festival promoted by Iñaqui Carnicero, general director of Agenda Urbana y Arquitectura, as a clear commitment to make visible the talent of the youngest architects and to offer them the opportunity to build one of their first works to bring architecture closer to society and value the public space of cities.

The city of Seville proposes working with hybrid teams of artists, architects and scientists to develop projects that, through culture, address the main challenges of our cities: climate change, mobility, migrant communities, intergenerational relations, minorities and the relationship from the centre to the periphery.
As part of an innovative approach, Valencia proposes in its project the initiative of Ágora Climática de Las Naves as a center of social and urban innovation in the city, as well as its intention to encourage citizen interest in ecological culture. His initiative aims to generate experiences in neighborhoods through meeting points between citizens and architecture, such as collective production workshops and exchange initiatives.
