We have just updated our website and we are celebrating, during the next months, our 20th anniversary, to celebrate it we launched the fourth edition of the TASCHEN & METALOCUS contest.
This Once again, we want to thank our readers for their loyalty with the best book of the year in architecture "ELEMENTS" and we take advantage of our "renewed website and our anniversary, our 20 years" to launch a new contest with the collaboration of TASCHEN. In this edition, we are curious to know which is your best image, your essential "Element" that should be included in a future "Elements".

Competition task .- 

What do you consider an element for you? Each participant must send us his/her 'element', that piece that inspires him/her to be or continue being an architect, that suggestive image that motivates you to make architecture, or what is the same, an image by him/her, take by him/her or a photo free of copyright with permission to send us and publish it. The images must be at least 2048 pixels wide.

How to participate?.- 
1.- First of all, follow METALOCUS in Facebook and Twitter. We want you on our side.
2.- Take a look at your surroundings, your trips, your images.
3.- You got it? Well, send it. Make sure it is at least 2048 pixels wide.
4.- Send us your photo by email with your twitter username and your personal details (full name and address so that METALOCUS may refer the prize to the winner) to: metalocus@metalocus.es.
5. We will send you an email and the moment you see your image appear on Twitter, you can already retweet it  for all your friends to see it, you are in.
6. The images will be tweeted by @METALOCUS under the hashtag ##taschenmetalocus2018
7. The maximum number of images is 2, per contestant.
 
Only the 10 images whose sum of RT and FAV is greater will be valued by the METALOCUS editorial staff, whose decision will be definitive.
 
8. Among all participants of the contest, except the winner, we will raffle the book: "Crazy Competitions".

- The contest will close at 24.00 hours on January 7, 2019.

We want that everybody has possibilities until the last day of the competition so, among all the participants, no matter how many retweets you achieve, it is going to be done a raffle.

Rules.-
 
1. The images will be uploaded by the members of METALOCUS as soon as possible, to the Twitter account @METALOCUS and may undergo a maximum delay of 3 hours. Computable times are Madrid office hours (GMT + 01: 00), namely: 9 to 14 h. and 16 to 20 h.
2. The contest is open to all who send an image according to the above and following conditions.
3. The competition is international and anyone can participate, with the conditions set out in point 5.
4. The sending of the the prize to the winner will be done by METALOCUS. (Whenever it is an address in Spain, for out of Spain the costs are borne by the winner). Be sure to send your data so METALOCUS has no problem when sending the prizes to the winners.
5. To participate in the contest will be necessary to follow METALOCUS on Twitter and Facebook.
6. The draw will be held among all participants in the contest, which will have to comply with point 5. to participate. The draw will be held among all the participants except the winners of the prizes.
7. Twitter has no connection with this contest, it is only the support platform. Any liability corresponds to METALOCUS, TASCHEN (only the remission of books) and participants (in providing images). So Twitter is expressly exonerated from any claims that might arise.
8. The competition will be declared void if they fail to get at least 20 retweet for your image, or in the case of a participation lower than the selected ones.
9. Twitter accounts with less than 20 followers or 50 tweets until this last month will not be valid.
10. METALOCUS is the only one who can upload images and give them a hashtag so that they are valid in the contest.
