The purpose of our project “Arquitectura Panamericana” is to digitally publish all projects submitted to the Biennials´contest since its inception. The website is organized and categorized in such a way that it is very easy for anyone to look for a specific project.

The Ecuadorian Architect Association – Pichincha Province, Quito´s Pan-American Architecture Biennial and the Junta de Andalucía present the Arquitectura Panamericana Project , a simple yet ambitious project that aims to show off the hundreds of works that have participated in the Biennal since it started and which is dedicated to every cobtirbutor to the construction of this archive of americal Arcchitecture. The website is specially designed to provide an ample vision and a complete comprehension of each project.

Since 1978, Quito´s Pan-American Architecture Biennial has been a venue of encounters, exhibition and comparison of many projects built in the American Continent. Winning projects of past Biennials summarize avant – garde architecture done throughout the continent. As winning projects, they have been published in our media through the past years. However, projects that have not won have not been published; until now. We have an archive that ascends to close to 10.000 projects that chronologically express tendencies, periods, cultural and ideological realities through 40 years of existence of Quito´s Pan-American Architecture Biennial.
