The entrance atrium is characterized by housing a powerful reddish volume that serves as a vertical communication core. On the ground floor, wood and pale colors increase their prominence in order to soften the climate of the space, and on the first floor the contrast of tones and textures between the wood and the concrete of the structure take center stage in the space.

Project description by Garmendia Cordero architects and Estudio Vila 13
We were commissioned to design the image of the new Gasifred offices within an industrial warehouse under construction on the outskirts of Ibiza city.
The plot, as well as the projected building, is triangular in shape and forms one of the vertices of the polygon in which it is located.
With the structure already defined and about to begin construction, it was decided to resolve the interior distribution using as the main axis the bisector of the angle formed by the two sides of the triangle at whose union the access to the building is located.

Likewise, a clear programmatic division is proposed: a ground floor for the showroom and visitor area on the one hand, taking advantage of a large double-height atrium in the entrance area and the warehouse and spare parts distribution area on the other, while the offices, their related uses and a home are located on the upper floor.
Following the direction marked by the bisector and which generates a false symmetry, the different rooms are resolved with the intention of generating intuitive and functional routes and using color and round shapes to do so.
A powerful reddish volume presides over the large atrium and houses the vertical communication core. Before reaching it, the showroom and showcooking area is organized within the lowest perimeter, freeing the high area for events and presentations with a single central element as a reception that receives the visitor, always in the shadow of the ceramic prism. , the only element that covers the entire free height and organizes the flows around it.

On the first floor, wood and pale colors increase their prominence in order to soften the climate of the space, highly marked by the imposing construction elements of the nave.
In contrast to the upper view where the large concrete beams and the self-supporting curved metal roof are the protagonists, at eye level, the pine wood and the corporate colors toned down achieve a warmer and friendlier sensation.
