The details are not the details. They make the design.

The first 'Detailers' meeting was held last summer in Barcelona featuring architects Alfredo Arribas, Carme Pinós and interior designer Fernando Salas. The three of them, rigorous professionals whose work shows exceptional attention to detail, shared with the audience their cultural models and references in 'attention to detail', as well as some of their own projects and works from other professionals who have inspired them throughout their carreers.
This second meeting at Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid will feature architect Carles Ferrater, from OAB - Office of Architecture in Barcelona, architect Fermín Vázquez, from b720 Arquitectura and designer Oscar Mariné. The meeting will be moderated by Juan Mellen, director of design businesses association RED, Reunión de Empresas de Diseño.
'Detailers' meetings by SIMON invite us to reflect on the importance of detail both professionally and in architecture and interior design. Through the experience of renowned personalities, their own challenges, their references and sources of inspiration, this inspiring talk turns to look at those elements who spend more unnoticed but that are essential to their authors.
Attendance is limited. You can sign up for an invitation to the meeting at rrpp@communicology.es
The importance of detail is reflected in the new collection of mechanisms Detail82 by SIMON. The firm's design director, Salvi Plaja, will introduce the collection's most important aspects, which aim to connect people to their architectural environment.
