The international architectural studio, Rafael Viñoly Architects (www.rvapc.com) is searching for a talented visualization artist to expand a visualization team, which works closely with the design principal.

We are looking for a candidate who has strong Photoshop skills that will not only satisfy the demands of the project but go above and beyond to add a creative edge to our images/animations. The position will be focused mainly on post-production, so knowledge of 3D programs is a plus but not required.  Candidates should be well-organized, self-motivated, flexible, and work well in a team.  The ability to work in a fast-paced environment on tight deadlines is essential.  Minimum 1 year experience in a creative professional environment is required.  An understanding of animation, photography and 3D visualization is a plus.  Candidates should have creative abilities, acute attention to detail and a strong technical understanding of compositing tools and efficient workflows.

Successful candidates should possess the following attributes:

  • A refined eye for art, lighting, composition and imagery
  • Excellent Photoshop and post-production skills, including photographic integration
  • Knowledge of 3D animation workflows and video editing software (i.e. After Effects)
  • Proficiency in 3ds Max and V-ray is preferred but not required
  • An education in architecture or related design field is a plus

This position is for full-time, in-house employment ONLY. No freelancers, independent contractors or consulting companies need apply.  Candidates must be legally employable in the U.S. and must be local to NYC, or willing to relocate on their own.

Rafael Viñoly.- Nacido el 1 de junio de 1944 en Montevideo, Uruguay,  y fallece el 3 de marzo de 2023 en Nueva York). Se crio en Argentina, hijo del director teatral Román Viñoly Barreto y de la profesora María Beceiro. Estudió Arquitectura en la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, de la que se graduó en 1969.

En 1978 Viñoly y su familia emigran a los Estados Unidos. Durante un breve tiempo dicta charlas en la Harvard Graduate School of Design, y se establece de manera permanente enNueva York en 1979.

En 1983 funda Rafael Viñoly Architects PC. Su primer gran proyecto fue el John Jay College of Criminal Justice, finalizado en 1988. En 1989 gana un concurso internacional de diseño para el Tokyo International Forum, completado en 1996, muchos lo consideran el más importante centro cultural de Japón.

Rafael Viñoly es miembro del American Institute of Architects, miembro internacional del Royal Institute of British Architects, miembro del Japan Institute of Architects y de la Sociedad Central de Arquitectos de la Argentina.

En la actualidad tiene oficinas en Londres, Los Ángeles, Abu Dhabi, Dubái y Bahrain.
