In honour of the Gwangju Design Biennale (South Korea), which is presenting the project Urban Folly this year, the DHUB is holding an event, for the festival that brings together the two cities thanks to design and urbanisme.

Urban Folly is a design and architecture project, that using 10 installations and follies, spread throughout the historic centre of Gwangju, are contributing to the revitalization of the city's urban grid. Based on this project, the DHUB will conducta a think tank where architects, designers and artists will will discuss the role of design in the environment and how it influences the lives of individuals. The 10 Urban Folly installations where were designed by Juan Herreros, Florian Beige, Nader Tehrani, Alejandro Zaera-Polo, Peter Eisenmann, Jung S.H./Kim S., J. Sungryong Joh, Dominique Perrault, Francisco Sanin and Yoshiharu Tsukamoto.

At this event there will also be a round table dedicated to Barcelona, entitled Barcelona: Change or die, that will include the participation of renowned architects such as, Josep Bohigues, Oriol Clos and Kim Young-Joon(curator of the Gwangju Design Biennale), and other figures in architecture and urbanism.
