The intention in this case was not to stage a riot or demonstration, nor to aestheticize social deprivation, a widespread and disreputable practice that characterizes so much of contemporary art. The aim was rather to move the attention from the distracted and exhausted mass of visitors that trekked though countless events to some current issues of extreme relevance.

The performers, around 50, had roamed the city from Base through Navigli to reached first Darsena later on Sant'Eustorgio and finally Colonne di San Lorenzo. At each stop flags, inflatable cushions made by Raumlabor, proclaimed their message of complain and hope, urging citizens to take action.
Each maritime flag stays for a specific incident; for example, man at sea, fire on board etc, but also stand out for a letter of the alphabet. Therefore, each flag, concept or letter, can be used to compose any complex message. This generates an interesting and original choreography that makes one to reflect on current events through the language of poetry and art.
