Everyone are desperate to get their hands on second edition of The Modern Architecture Game, newly launched. The first edition was launched on 30 August 1999 by NEXT Architects. It was the first project collaboration involving the four partners at NEXT architects and was distributed in the private environment of Delft University of Technology.

Now, ten years later, they have produced a revised version of The Modern Architecture Game. This edition is an international version, in the sense that it is produced in English, but also that the questions range right across the breadth of modern world history, allowing an extremely broad and international group of architecture enthusiasts to test their knowledge of the greatest architects, their famous buildings and legendary quotes.

Granted, it isn’t cheap but how often do you get to play a board game with pieces like Koolhaus’ CCTV Tower, or Foster’s Gherkin? If you want to buy a copy of the game may be picked up at the NEXT Architects office in Amsterdam, however please call in advance. UnBeige also reported seeing the board game for sale at Architectura & Natura Booksellers in the Netherlands. You can also buy the game online here.

These days are quite cold in Spain and more than one is already planning to spend the afternoon playing with friends,  some are already thinking to call the Koolhaas' CCTV Headquarters! Here’s a short trailer. Good weekend everyone!!
