One particular story begins in 1959 ... 50 years, 66 images, 11 Spanish. The selection of sixty-six photographs of eleven Spanish photographers show us, through their best photographs, their personal view of the Island of Cuba.

Enrique Meneses, Alberto García Alix, Ángel Marcos, Cristina García Rodero, Isabel Muñoz, José Mª Díaz-Maroto, José María Mellado, José Ramón Bas, Juan Manuel Castro Prieto, Juan Manuel Díaz Burgos and Toni Catany make up this exhibition.

The theoretical basis of this new exhibition project is inspired in the way of seeing and perceiving a culture, the eternal desire of the photographer. Despite the distance, the photographer looking for with tenacity their sources of inspiration and hence pursues new cultures, new landscapes and new beings. The images of this sample will lead to many corners of the large island, to receive the land, the skin and the taste of a different culture, near and far at the same time. Despite the diversity of the work sample is not intended to delve into the primitive value of the distance ("as far is good"), on the contrary, we enjoy visions and ways of working as diverse as the number of authors participating in the sample.
