The art galleries of Madrid have joined PHotoEspaña in order to promote the development of the photographic market. A total of 33 art galleries participate in Festival Off. Only one of them, the gallery that presents the best exhibition, will be awarded the Festival Off Price. The winner will be voted by an independent jury that chooses the best proposal of every edition of the festival. Last year, the winner was Blanca Berlín, for the exhibition "Shadow Archive", by Toni Catany.
Some of the galleries have already opened the exhibitions, like Espacio Foto (Luis Baylón), Fernández Braso (Isabel Muñoz), Guillermo de Osma (Pierre Molinier), Joan Gaspar (Marlous Van der Sloot), Max Estrella (Angélica Dass), Patricia Acal (David Leventi), Paula Alonso (Álvaro Deprit, Jesús Madriñán, Tomás Miñambres, Jordi Ruiz Cirera y Marta Soul) y Pilar Serra (Linarejos Moreno).
