José Hevia Blach, majorcan, started studying photography when almost all leavers continued and graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona in 2003. Reached architectural photography working as an assistant with architectural photographers, and when he finished the studies, he decided to specialize in that field, it was a good way up profesional.

His photograph reflects his own personality. His photographs are normally with colors or cool shares, with neutral lights, avoiding intentionally the lights and shadows, intense colors, frames always without people, in general empty architectures, aseptics, almost laboratory.

His photographs rather talk about situations and times where people do not interfere, frames where avoid to occupants and the architecture is shown before living, even when deduce traces of human activity that seems almost frozen in an empty time. When framing and light choice for making remove people prevent these appear blurred, unfocused, almost like ghosts inhabiting reality.

When José Hevia Blach talks about architecture he talks about "discipline", when he talks about photographers he talks about "imaging professionals", when he talks about hardware and software he talks about the appropriate ones, extremely thorough "where everything is as it must be".

Marilyn Monroe during shooting of her famous nudes told her photographer, Lawrence Schiller, "Do not be so arrogant" -mocking Marilyn answered your questions. «Replace a photographer is easy». Each photographer has a different personality and it is usually what attracts customers. So in 2003 when he finished and taking advantage of a change in the edition of the catalan magazine Quaderns, José Hevia began working for two years with the magazine , moment that allowed him to get noticed and also collaborate with the editorial Gustavo Gili in a number of magazine 2G, continued after working to others architects, one of the offices for architects to photograph is usually to Iñaki Abalos, for that reason, his participation in the book of Alejandro de la Sota Arquia Foundation and Spanish Pavilion Biennale di Venezia 2014.

His work, focusing mainly on Spain, has expanded its scope and also performs work for companies in the field of advertising.
