A round table takes place this afternoon (17.00h) at the COAM's headquarters to celebrate the success of this crucial documentation of contemporary Spanish architecture service, which has been providing to the general public plans, photographs, postcards, models, panels and all types of documents for four decades. After a visit to the historic service itself by Alberto Sanz Hernando, a panel discussion moderated by Carlos Lahoz Palacio will reflect on the significance of this deposit to Madrid's architectural memory.
The journey of the historical service of Madrid’s School of Architects (COAM) is currently more than 40 years old. The deposit was opened in 1975 with the aim of preserving Madrid’s architectural heritage and in the present time disposes of more than 400,000 documents, organized in 47 architectural legacies.
