In 'E42', Begoña Zubero features photographs of large buildings from EUR district in Rome, with a treatment that makes us see them as parts of a stage, a Roman scenery, represented by arcs, typically Roman travertine marble, statues, light ... a special light and a large format that accentuates the vision of these architectures as visions from a past time.
The work exhibited in the Estación XV exhibition. The event is the presentation of work by seventeen Spanish artists and researchers, and an Italian engraver who present their results after their scholarship in the Academy of Rome. In Calcografía exhibition hall of San Fernando, Goya rooms of prints and the Academy façade. The exhibition is a real artistic research lab where you can discover the subjective, personal and surprising reinterpretations about Rome.
The participating artists are: Tamara Arroyo, Marisa Brugarolas, Miguel Cuba Taboada, Julio Falagán, José Noguero, Oriol Saladrigues Brunet, Miguel Ángel Tornero, María Trénor, Giuseppe Vigolo and Begoña Zubero. Also you can know the works by researchers Cecilia Ardanaz Ruiz, Agustín Cocola Gant, Carlos Contreras Elvira, José Luis Corazón Ardura, Juan Agustín Mancebo, Enrique Martínez Lombó y Ana María Mogollón Naranjo.

Curator.- César Espada holds a PhD in philosophy and diplomat. He serves as Head of Departamento de Cooperación Universitaria y Científica de la Dirección de Relaciones Culturales y Científicas de la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, which leads the Call for Scholarships MAEC-AECID for the Academy of Spain in Rome.
