In its fifth edition, Mugak/ proposes a space for collective reflection and experimentation, in order to explore architectural utopias that can help us build the desirable futures we aspire to inhabit. The proposals submitted must be aligned with this theme.
Under the name Open Mugak/, the call for proposals aims to financially support projects aimed at celebrating architecture in the three Basque capitals next autumn. In addition, for the first time, the call for activities is open to people and entities from outside the Basque Country, so those from the national and international sphere with the capacity to contract can apply.
With a maximum funding of €15,000, each project will be developed in one of the three Basque capitals (Bilbao, Donostia-San Sebastián and Vitoria-Gasteiz), where the different thematic programs, talks or conferences, visits, exhibitions and open and free cultural expressions will be hosted, acting as venues for the exhibition.
