BUILDINGS ROLLING ON TRACKS

The proposal was awarded third prize of a master planning competition last Friday. Jurors appreciated the proposal’s reuse of existing infrastructure rather than creating areas of the city as well as the poetic and slightly surreal qualities of the design.

The architects wanted to establish a distinct identity for the town and literally set the place in motion with the rolling structures.
