WUDTHiNG presents its new collection of furniture, T-Furniture, within a approach to a sustainable production with wood. Designed by Frank Buschmann, the collection T-Furniture, has several models of chairs and tables made in wood, T-Chaise, T-Table or T-Chair. All the products are manufactured by european companies.

WUDTHiNG presents wooden design products using raw materials that are harvested, processed and manufactured in a sustainable fashion. The focus at WUDTHiNG lies on mass-producible design solutions guaranteeing fair prices and a responsible use of resources. WUDTHiNG stands for honest products MADE IN EUROPE that pay tribute to the resource wood and its extraordinary qualities.

WUDTHiNG’s T-Furniture Collection, designed by Frank Buschmann, is shown for the first time in its entirety at Le Voyage à Nantes 2013 / A Journey to Nantes 2013.

T-Furnitures were designed originally for a series of cultural events and are now made available to everyone under the label WUDTHiNG .All T-Furnitures are FSC,PEFC and ISPM15 certified.

Biography:

FRANK BUSCHMANN | THE DESIGNER

Frank Buschmann, cabinet maker, designer and co-founder of WUDTHiNG was born in South-Africa, lived in Nigeria and was educated and worked as a cabinetmaker in Karlsruhe Germany. He studied design at the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands and worked amongst others for Studio Edelkoort Paris and MTV Spain. From 2005 to 2012 Frank Buschmann was working as curator and artistic director at Intermediae, a public cultural centre for the Arts funded by the City Council of Madrid. In 2013 he founded Woodworks Buschmann Bella a studio workshop dedicated to revitalizing and promoting.

MARTIN SCHNEIDER | CO-FOUNDER

Martin Schneider was born in Austria and graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. After having studied three years architecture at the Vienna University of Technology he continued as doctoral candidate at ETSAM Madrid obtaining the DEA degree in 2008. He is the founder of HIERBABUENA ESTUDIO – a Madrid based web Development Company and has participated in several start-ups as Internet Entrepreneur.
