The event, which took place at the headquarters of La Casa de la Arquitectura, was inaugurated by the general secretary of Urban Agenda, Housing and Architecture, Iñaqui Carnicero. The third edition of the festival will be held from June 13 to July 14 at Puerta del Sol in Vigo, which will host the first of the temporary pavilions. Shortly after, the second pavilion will be installed between September 23 and October 14 in the central Plaza del Rey in San Fernando, in line with the reflection proposed for this edition, which revolves around the use and design of public space and the regeneration of urban spaces from the perspective of small scale, domesticity, and proximity.
The presentation of TAC! It has also served to announce the launch of the rules for the call for the ideas competition, whose deadline will be open until April 2, in which architects under 45 years of age will be able to present their proposals for temporary pavilions.

TAC Cities! 2024: Vigo and San Fernando
At a time when urban transformations are the focus of architectural and social debate, reflection on the central spaces of the city - usually a meeting point for very diverse uses and activities -, urban regeneration, and the use of space public will be the common thread of the pavilion proposals for Vigo and San Fernando.
Vigo's candidacy, presented by the Vigo Council with the support of the Official College of Architects of Galicia, TAC! 2024, shows a transversal spirit between local practices and policies that will allow us to delve deeper into the urban transformations carried out by this unique city forged from an industrial fabric.
For its part, in the case of San Fernando, presented by its City Council, the concept of public space stands out as a vital component, where culture becomes an engine of change and dynamism of the economy and employment in the city, creating spaces multifunctional public spaces for social interaction and cultural expression, and dialogue between a wide diversity of people, designed and managed in a way that guarantees human development, and promotes coexistence, connectivity, and social inclusion.
