A country where the prime minister makes this kind of joke in public, and what’s worse, that the audience, mayors from the south of Italy, laughs and applauds can’t leave you indifferent.
The man is funny, why deny it, but this type of joke should be told in a comedy club and not in public when you are the highest authority in the Republic. But it a fairly representative case of what happens here. Who votes for this man? You ask and apparently nobody except those that brag about it and you would know without even asking them. But the fact is that he ended up being elected. That’s how it works. Nobody says anything except that it’s going ahead, and all you have is vague, unclear information. In the end, BAM, it’s right in your face.

You can’t deny that this has its positive side. It’s the most faithful reflection of emerging behaviours. Apparently characters that individually show no sign of intelligence get together in groups, organise themselves and form masses of intelligent behaviour. It’s called "swarm behaviour ", and it exists in all the strata of nature. From ant colonies, flocks of birds and of course, in a less noticeable way, in groups of people. But if you look around you carefully, you can see it.

This is roughly how things work in the studio. The projects we have in the studio are based in ex-Soviet republics, of course, China, and Italy. As a result, there is a constant flow of people entering and leaving the studio which means the emerging self-organised behaviours are more evident in a situation when you have the agonising aim of finishing a project and doing it on schedule.
I had already worked like this, that is, changing teams for each project, and therefore changing the working process for each project, but I had never done is with such diverse people. This experience is highly enriching because working with people that have been educated in such places as Israel, Slovakia, China or Japan, leaves you with serious mental chaos, but also makes you develop a great ability to adapt yourself to new unexpected situations quickly, and given the way things work today, it isn’t a bad thing.
And the best thing is: I have a good time.
