Photographer Wing Shya has created The City of Genius for Moncler as a visual manifesto on how to “live like a genius” following the trajectory of a young woman (played by Leah Dou) at different stages of her life as she explores her identity and discovers the possibilities of creativity. A journey of self-realization that allows him to explore different corners of the city, exploring perceptions through images, sometimes real and sometimes the result of fiction.
The city as a landscape through which Shya builds a captivating look through the lens of cinema and the creation of contemporary images. The Italian brand Moncler invited a group of creators to project thematic worlds with which to land in Shanghai by presenting The City of Genius as part of Shanghai Fashion Week. The video is a small sample that builds a metropolis of immersive experiences as a global epicenter of creativity, in a celebration of innovation and local culture in Shanghai.
