In the song, as well as throughout her new album, Nicole Miglis weaves together feelings of obsession, love and longing, accompanied by an electric array of sounds, both organic and digital. She deals with themes of desire and the way we try to break free from the limitations we impose on ourselves. At the same time, she explores the idea of power and potential, of not being able to see the extent of what one is capable of.
The song becomes a soundtrack to all these feelings, employing experimental sounds and new melodic hooks that allow the singer's sensorial voice to shine through. The artist's voice conveys a sense of intimacy and vulnerability in the music, capturing raw and honest emotions.

Lyrics.-
May I be honest
Well who is that I’m speaking to
I was here earlier
Before the place was weatherproof
And now I sit across from you
But all we do is talk and chew
You’re leaning on a photograph
Look I don’t want an autograph from you
I want you
To trust in me
Where are your shoes
I remember when all the floors were bare
Before the paving
Before all the neighborhood cared
And now I sit across from you
But all we do is talk and chew
You’re leaning on a photograph
Look I don’t want an autograph from you
I want you
To trust in me
Trust
(I don’t wanna play along .. I don’t wanna …)
