The company participates in PHotoESPAÑA 2019 with an exhibition of 15 images by Paco Gómez photographer that they can be seen in some of the most central streets of Madrid, such as Atocha or Recoletos, among others.
Iberia returns one more year to participate in the PHotoESPAÑA programming with an activity that is part of its #Talentoabordo project.

Until next July 10, some of the most central streets of the capital will host a sample with images of photographer Paco Gómez who has visited the maintenance hangars of the airline.

For this exhibition the photographer has used "a special technique, making the photographs with an old camera with photographic plates that are black and white 10x15 cm. The large surface of the plate increases the grains of the film and therefore the quality of the image. Here there are no pixels, only light particles striking a photosensitive surface placed inside a dark chamber. "

The photographer, hidden under a black cloth, inhabits a world upside down, visualizes the shot to be made in mirror image and face down.

"The pause and reflection that this type of cameras demands and the relationship that it establishes with the portrayed characters gives them a unique, almost magical capacity," says Gómez.

The photographs can be seen in 140 locations in Madrid, such as Atocha, Embajadores, Felipe II, Doctor Esquerdo, Arturo Soria or Bravo Murillo, among others.

The collaboration of Iberia with PHotoESPAÑA is part of the #Talentoabordo project of the company, whose objective is to support, spread and be an ambassador of various initiatives of Spanish culture in the nearly 50 countries where it flies.
