The curator will have the artistic and academic responsibility for the Oslo Architecture Triennale 2016, and will be given the opportunity to develop the concept, theme and content over a period of two years. The Curator will have primary academic and artistic responsibility for OAT 2016, including the development of its conceptual and thematic framework, research and programming, exhibitions and events. Proposals in English, from individuals or collectives of any nationality and country of residence are openly invited.
"The goal is develop a program incorporating material of high quality for the triennale event, and to document and collect experience and insights. The Oslo Architecture Triennale 2013, was curated by the Belgian collective Rotor. OAT is well on its way to establishing itself as one of the most important architecture festivals in Europe. The triennale acts as a meeting place between the field of architecture and the general public, and is a platform for the discussion of issues in contemporary architecture and urbanism on local, regional and global levels.
