Give that the kiosk was designed by Brut Deluxe, to be used for temporary street markets or handicraft fairs and it isn’t thought of as an individual object, but as part of a whole that builds up a small village, a little world of its own fitted into the city. The kiosk is used as the set for this short scary movie by ImagenSubliminal.

A woman is running through alleyways between the homogenous kiosks. The female character is chased by a figure wielding an axe. The women are not alone, there are a third character, a man dressed in black running over the roofs.

m.poli is an architecture video. The starting point of the video is its setting, a realised kiosk design by Brut Deluxe Architecture and Design. brutdeluxe.com

The kiosk (manufactured under the name m.poli) is used for temporary street fairs. 275 units were bought by the City of Madrid. While not in use, they sit in the outskirts of Madrid for storing and maintenance. Together they form a strange little town. This video is inspired by the atmospheric qualities and artificial urbanity of this setting.
