"Essentials. David Chipperfield Architects" is the exhibition organized and produced by the ICO Foundation showing a retrospective selection of works realized by the architect David Chipperfield from 1985 until 2015. The format chosen for the exhibition is mainly the display of models with scales that allow the appreciation of the interior and exterior features of each building, as well as the variations that have been suffered along the project process, which for the architect must be the result of a connection between hand and mind, something that the work with models allows him to develop in a more confortable way compared to digital models.
