For the first time the FAD Architecture Prize has not fallen on a particular work of finalists provided as a somewhat atypical situation that comes to recognize the set of interventions carried out there, a set of over one hundred thousand square meters dedicated to the creation contemporary, composed of different interventions and buildings, two of which (the Ship of Music and the Nave 16) were among the finalists. Slaughterhouse has been awarded the entire proposal, by experimentation on a cultural level but also by its respect for the existing industrial architecture, with a minimum of foreign ownership in some interventions resolved with "rigor and authenticity", as highlighted by the jury .
