A less known song, but that faithfully reflects the style of Ben Howard, it is the main character of our Saturday. Launched in 2012 as the lead single of the "The Burgh Island EP", "Esmeralda" has lyrics about loneliness and abandonment accompanied by a video featuring spectacular images of the "Black sea" mentioned in his lyrics.
The video, directed by surfer photographer Mickey Smith, creates, with very little, a magical and unreal atmosphere. What seems like a collection of beautiful pictures of waves, turns into a extremely hypnotic video just by pressing Play.
Our music video of the Saturday. (Official video). METALOCUS MUSIC PROJECT.
Ben Howard, an english shy surfer, went from writing songs in his room to win two Brit Awards. His songs "Further Away" and "Only Love" recorded in the live sessions madmoiZelle in front of the Louvre, were probably the ones that made him better known, showing the sheer complexity and insight behind them.
