In the early 90's began to talk about coolhunting to refer to the activity of those marketers who analyzed and predicted the changes in society applied to industry, although the time has come to associate especially the fashion industry.

Tomorrow, one of these trends coolhunters or hunters, Jorge Rodriguez, will give a lecture within the sessions around the exhibition: What should I wear? Maria's wardrobe Shine by Pedro Rodriguez under the name Coolhunting: XX to XXI Century, a vision.

Coolhunting: from the 20th to the 21st century, a vision of the future

Based on the figure of Mary as Brillas as a trendsetter, the discussion wil explore the trends of the era, their historical context, and the social and communicative function that fashion, daywear and business attire serve. We will explore how the social environment and its values ​​and beliefs, affect local trends and influence our personal decisions, as well as, the manner in which we construct our identity. A journey to the Barcelona of the 1940's and 1950's through the Ensesa family and the glamorous life of Maria Brillas. 

The lecture is free in the hall of DHUB after 19,00. Barcelona.
