The Gremi de Ralojers de la Comunitat Valenciana and Hispalyt develop an outreach campaign that analyzes the qualities and advantages of bricks and ceramic blocks compared to other materials in the new era of construction, characterized by sustainability, reliability and acoustic insulation and thermal. And recommends these constructive solutions as the most appropriate for full compliance with the Technical Building Code (CTE).

The brick walls digital platform is designed so that developers, builders, prescribers, and citizens can access documentation on the qualities and benefits of bricks and ceramic blocks, and offers detailed information on how the choice of these materials allows the creation of attractive and modern spaces far outperforming other construction materials.
Professionals who wish to do so can access the web to discover the performance of these construction systems of separating walls and facades compared to other materials, through comparisons, because of the requirements of the CTE for 1-panel, 2-panel, and mixed partition walls. with PYL, as well as for facades with 2 panels with SATE and 2 panels without SATE.

And it makes available to architects, builders, and designers a complete "Technical Manual for façades and interior walls of bricks and ceramic blocks for coating" which includes information on performance accreditation, tests and calculations, types of bricks and ceramic blocks, or tables with the benefits of constructive solutions for facades and vertical interior partitions using these materials.

Also part of the campaign is a summary video on the advantages of brick and ceramic blocks compared to concrete blocks in partitions and facades, analyzing aspects such as their technical performance, cost, mortar consumption, labor performance, and speed of assembly.

LEED, BREEAM and GREEN sustainability certificates
Brick walls and ceramic blocks create comfortable, efficient, and healthy homes thanks to the properties of these construction systems such as their adaptability to climate change, durability, and resilience; their acoustic and thermal performance; or their recyclability and transparency in the composition, endorsed by the Environmental Product Declarations (DAP).

In the field of sustainability, the campaign also includes information on the contribution of bricks and ceramic blocks to obtain LEED, BREEAM, and GREEN certificates and the Passivhaus standard. The sheets for obtaining these certificates are available on the GBCe Materials Platform from where they can be downloaded, guaranteeing that their content has gone through a quality review process by an independent team of experts. In addition, you can also download the supporting documentation required by the certifications.
