Russian photographer Alexander Yakovlev has created a captivating series entitled ‘Mirages’ with flour and ballet dancers. Looking at the art of dance through an innovative lens, Yakovlev isolates each performer on a black or dark gray background and photographs them enacting elegant and expressive movements within the frame.
"At the core classes - Traditional ballet class at the world-famous method of Agrippina Vaganova. The lesson consists of several parts. At the beginning of the class focuses on warming up the body: performed stretching and flexibility exercises. Then we work at the barre, develop balance and master the basic ballet movements. After -movement in the middle of the room using a variety of dance elements that promote freedom of movement. These lessons provide a good posture, gait and tightened the special musicality."
