ARCOTANGENTE, the virtual and colective art fair

Arcotangente is a spin-off from Lagaleríademagdalena's urban art project, a cultural platform that detects undervalued public spaces and transforms them into a place for temporary exhibitions, in which all the displayed material is given away in the form of #UrbanGifts.

Arcotangente takes place at the same time as Madrid's exclusive annual art fair. It is a virtual copyleft art gallery, where everyone can participate and share their works and all the content can be downloaded for free.

In addition to the virtual gallery lagaleríadearcotangente.tumblr.com, two physical exhibitions will display a selection of works, #UrbanGifts in postcard size which the public can take away with them. The postcards are thought as an invitation to the fair and contain a link to the platform where all the downloadable content can be found.

The first exhibition took place on Thursday 20th February at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura of Madrid and the next show will be held on Sunday, 23rd February at 12:30h at Principe 14 street in Madrid.
