After winning the first prize in the architecture competition, GRAFT developed a design occupying roughly 12 acres for a park, (approx. 5 Ha), creating a relationship between landscape and architecture with a central show palace and 12 themed pavilions. The pavilions will be open all year round and deliver an interactive atmosphere, and they housed activities such as a 360° cinema, a horse museum, a foal station, and a petting zoo.
Although they are distributed throughout the park and differ in function, the pavilions maintain a cohesive relationship through the use of similar materials, such as wood.
The show palace has space for 1,700 visitors, who can watch the horse show on a 40-meter wide stage. All visitors are guaranteed a good view and a short distance to the stage since this layout allows only a few rows of seats.
GRAFT proposes to APASSIONATA an exceptional themed world that will become the face and label of the horse show. The show palace is slated to open early next year while commissioning for the rest of the park is expected by mid-2016.
