The young British artist Little Simz publishes "Women", the second single from her second album "Sometimes I Might Be Introvert", in May 2021 and does so with the collaboration of Cleo Sol, with whom she shares much more than nationality, both being great exponents of British music and R&B on the current scene.

The artist uses her music as a speaker, always covering topics such as politics, social injustices, racism or political corruption. This time she focuses on offering a deeper perspective on the way in which different women impact and help elevate certain cultures in the world.

What Little Simz and Cleo Sol are looking for in this song is to pay tribute to women, giving them the spotlight and highlighting their beauty and presence.

Interwoven with the shower of praise and compliments in the lyrics, there are allusions to women from areas mostly populated by people of color, which incorporate political insinuations in a vindictive way, making frequently marginalized women protagonists.
