The story begins as a lost ship in the ocean. In it, laziness and boredom rule, an ideal field for the development of surreal dreams about love and absence. See You Again by American rapper, producer, and designer Tyler, the Creator, thus stands as a kind of "love letter" with no recipient.

The single belongs to the artist's fourth album, Flower Boy, which had an excellent reception, even going so far as to obtain the Grammy for Best Rap Album. However, See You Again would have to wait another year to surprise us with its kaleidoscopic visual conceptualization.

Produced by Happy Place, the video clip was directed by Tyler, the Creator himself under his other alter egos, Wolf Haley, and features ASAP Rocky and Kali Uchis, who also collaborates vocally on the single.

With strong surrealist influences, the piece shows the rapper locked in a military ship while Kali waits from his boat lost in the ocean, with no more shelter than a raincoat and the sea stillness. However, the reunion never comes, prolonging the overwhelming boredom of the confinement still on land. Thus, Tyler flees from the navy aircraft carrier where he seems to have returned to flee into the dark forest where the ghosts of his dreams lie.
