A walk through the museum. Bajo la mesa by Morat

Colombian band Morat teamed up with Colombian singer Sebastián Yatra to release their song Bajo la mesa, one of the singles included in their third album ¿A dónde vamos? released in July 2021. The song was written and produced by band members, Sebastián Yatra, Andrés Torres, and Mauricio Rengifo.

The video is framed in a complex situation as it was made in the middle of the global pandemic of Covid-19, this led the group to decide to make an illustrated video with the help of Drasik Studio, an animation studio based in Barcelona that has worked with other artists and companies.

The video takes place in a museum where the protagonist travels through various paintings in search of his beloved. This journey is inspired by great masterpieces of different styles and periods among which we can recognize "The Girl with the Pearl" by Johannes Vermeer, "Le Printemps" by Pierre-Auguste Cot, "The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt, "Field of Sunflowers" and "The Starry Night" by Van Gogh, various paintings by Picasso, Dali, Kandinski or Michelangelo.
