The 64th edition of the FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design has published the shortlist and longlist entries for this year 2022. The jury has made a selection of 27 finalist works from the 542 proposals submitted.

There are 3 major categories in this competition, each one with its different modalities. 434 of the works that took part corresponded to the category of FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design, while 75 were for the FAD Awards for Thought and Criticism and 33 for the International FAD Awards.
The first selection was conducted by the president Inês Lobo together with Paloma Cañizares, Josep Puigdomènech, Pep Quilez, Maria Rubert de Ventós and Jorge Vidal as members in the Disseny Hub space in Barcelona, the current headquarters of FAD.

The category of Thought and Criticism was supervised by Marta Llorente (president), Kathrin Golda-Pongratz and Alessandro Scarnato (members) and finally, the International category, now in its 9th edition, was judged by the celebrated architect Carme Pinós accompanied by Pere Buil and Diane Gray.

The final verdict will take place at a public event on 14 June 2022, also at Disseny HUB Barcelona, which will include an exhibition of the works declared the winners by the jury.
