Behind the name evoking cinematic thoughts, is a female singer, evoking clearly the Italian Dino de Laurentiis, cult producer of La Strada, Barbarella, Flash Gordon, Dune or Hannibal, the young Toulouse knows how to choose her references. In this avalanche of name-dropping, electronic music pioneer Laurie Anderson, Brian Eno's synthetic tablecloths and Ryuichi Sakamoto's piano will be added to complete a well-stocked picture.

DeLaurentis' music is making its way towards a sensitive, orchestral, organic and inevitably cinematic electronica. Music inevitably magnified by a clip, directed by AB/CD/CD. Good work, great!!

From Toulouse where her jazz musician father was pianist-arranger for Claude Nougaro, she learned music at the Conservatory of Perpignan and in Toulouse in Musicology Jazz at the University of Mirail as well as a music school for film scoring.
