Like all the previous year, for 17 years already, the Arquia Foundation summoned its competition for students´scholarships for working experience in European architectural practices. The selection is based on two modalities: either on the academic dossier, or the competition of ideas.

This year the Arquia Foundation in its XVII edition chose Jordi Badia as the only member of the jury, who selected the ten winning proposals for the competition. The topic proposed to the participants was defined with a title 'a lay chapel' and meant to design a space of tranquility and reflection at the Plaza de las Glòries in Barcelona.
