Jury evaluation: "New entrance to the intermodal station of Palma" by Joan Miquel Seguí Coloma.
The jury values the role of the ceramic latticework as the element that defines identity as a portal and as a threshold between the urban space and the infrastructure services of the intermodal station. Recover the use of the Mediterranean tradition of the latticework as a filter from an exterior space to a place that begins to be cozy. The resounding prominence of ceramics results from the happy solution of having found a structural resource that makes it present without this support system becoming evident from the outside.
