On the other hand, in the ex aequo Prize we find two publications. The first one is the Self-construction. For an autonomy to inhabit. Writings on housing, urbanism, self-management and holism, by John F. C. Turner, Kathrin Golda Pongratz, José Luís Oyón, Volker Zimmermann. The other publication is the How to live with memory. Artistic attitudes towards architecture and Francoism, by Manuel Olveira.
FAD Habitàcola Awards
The jury has detected a certain lack of realism in terms of constructive solutions and production of the elements of the stops. For this reason, the jury has preferred to value intentions more than concrete solutions.
Among the proposals received, different typologies have been established, such as product exhibitors, stands of seasonal fairs and works on the problem of the top blanket. The jury has recognized the quality and creativity, although they have not adequately adapted to the type, flexibility or mobility of the traveling position that was requested. The most important evaluation criteria have been the respect to the weather, the comfort in relation to the use, the recognizable identity, the durability, the ease of assembly and disassembly, the clear mobility feasible, the novelty typological the new formal contributions.
The jury of the 31st edition of the Habitàcola Awards has been integrated by Dani Freixes as president, and Esther Brosa, Pere Sirvent and Jelena Prokopljevic as members. The jury awarded the Habitàcola Prize to the project "20 grados", the work of Oscar Rodríguez, Mari Ferré and Tamara Martínez.
