Architect and illustrator, this portuguese stands out for illustrating cities by isometric perspectives, where every building, every detail of theirs facades is represented with great quality. All hand-drawn artworks, often throws a review or make a simple wink making them blow, jumping into a thousand pieces.
Among his works are world famous and representative buildings like the Chrysler Building, the Met, the Whitney and the Guggenheim. Although probably his two better works are the reproduction of Barcelona city, place he lives and works nowadays, and publication "New York Perceptions" for the magazine The New Yorker.
Vasco Mourão is a portuguese architect turned into an illustrator with a tendency for obsessive drawing. Based in Barcelona, he splits his time working between these two disciplines. Being an architect can be all consuming, but Vasco is trying to give more time and attention to his illustrations – finishing up a children’s book, looking for representation, and organizing exhibitions.
