The French company developed and distributed video games Ubisoft Entertainment S.A., presented the first fully next-gen video game in the Assassins Creed saga at the most important E3 video game convention in 2014.

For the presentation video, the decision was made to make a totally digital music video that summarizes the plot of the video game, based on events from the French Revolution.
The music video is recorded in a realistic recreation of the city of Paris during the French Revolution, where architectural monuments such as the Notre Dame Cathedral are shown. The entire video is represented by a first-person view of an eagle flying through the city showing different points of the riots through the streets of the city.

For the video the song "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor or better known as Lorde was used.

Welcome to your life
There's no turning back
Even while we sleep
We will find you
Acting on your best behaviour
Turn your back on mother nature
Everybody wants to rule the world
It's my own design
It's my own remorse
Help me to decide
Help me make the most
Of freedom and of pleasure
Nothing ever lasts forever
Everybody wants to rule the world
There's a room where the light won't find you
Holding hands while the walls come tumbling down
When they do I'll be right behind you
So glad we've almost made it
So sad they had to fade it
Everybody wants to rule the world
Everybody wants to rule the world
Everybody wants to rule the world
