After the analysis of different alternatives by AMB technicians, it was considered that the most suitable alternative to cross the river is the construction of a hanging metal footbridge.
The bridge consists of two 9-meter high pillars, two catenaries or main steel cables, and a 2-meter wide pine wood deck. The 5-meter clear height is bridged with a total span of 84 meters between the piers. The integration of the bridge with the terrain is solved with concrete ramp accesses.
