Naomi Campbell remembers it this way: “We were very supportive of each other. Work was work but it didn’t feel like work, it was also fun and we would work all hours of the night to achieve what we wanted to achieve — the goal, the look, the whole vibe of the shoot. It was a special time.” According to Hamish Bowles, “Steven Meisel is an alchemist. He can take something that looks like one thing and transform it into something utterly different.”
Steven Meisel 1993 A Year in Photographs is a project of the Marta Ortega Pérez Foundation (MOP Foundation), which structures its activity on three pillars: A Coruña, photography and fashion. The MOP Foundation has an exhibition space in the port area of A Coruña designed by the architect Elsa Urquijo from A Coruña.
