Within the narrow and ancient fabric of the city of Seville, the reform of this old Andalusian house is being carried out. The house is organized around two patios full of deciduous vegetation, in such a way as to allow cross ventilation, which is very difficult in the historic center of this city, and to cool the environment thanks to the vegetation.
Architects Inmaculada González and Harald Schönegger with those responsible for this project. The house aims to include green spaces that were lost in the city environment. It is conceived as a container that contains trees and plants covering the roofs, terraces and patios with vegetation at different levels. The outdoors and greenery merge into an open and unified domestic habitat. For this purpose, the first internal interior wall is diluted with a structural beam.
