In February this year we announced the convening of the international competition of the "Observatorio Panamericano." A few months later, we bring you a summary of the winning projects, which may participate in the negotiation table to define the development and implementation of these projects.

In this first edition, the topic has been Emergency Interventions, setting the stage for the projects in the American Continent, affected by successive disasters, natural or man-made phenomena, occurred in the last two years and still unresolved.

HOW TO RECYCLE A TERRITORY THREATENED BY THE RISK OF NATURAL DISASTERS; San Cristobal. Bolivar. Colombia. HOW TO MANAGE THE INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT OF OCCUPANCY IN AREAS AFFECTED BY FLOODING LINKED TO CLIMATE CHANGE; Chimalhuacan. State of Mexico. Mexico. HOW TO RESTRUCTURE AN URBAN FABRIC RESULT OF ACCELERATED PROCESSES OF URBAN SPRAWL; and Cercado de Lima. Lima. Peru. REBUILDING A UNPLANNED SETTLEMENT THREATENED BY ANTHROPIC RISK.
